Thursday night Rex was up all night with a fever. I took him into the doctor and he has a sinus infection that came with a fever of 102. Of course, we left for California the next day. The doctor gave him a prescription but lucky for us he is going to be pissy and not feeling well for the next few days. The car ride to Mesquite was not the most fun ride ever and my poor parents got to share the hotel room with us. He went to sleep fine but about 3 he was up and fevered again. We didn't get very much sleep in our room to say the least. The ride from Mesquite to Palm Springs went much better. Rex slept 90% of the car ride.Well we are here and Rex seems to feel better every day. On top of the sinus infection he is finally getting his 3rd tooth. Yeah! but it just makes him feel that much worse.
Here are some fun pictures of the pool today. It was only 99 today and tomorrow is going be 103 so we spent most of the day at the pools. 
It took Rex a little bit to warm up to the idea of the pool. He had just woke up from a not so good nap and needed a little convincing.
He liked going down the slide. Steve's ear had been bugging him and didnt want to get any more water in it so Rex had to settle for Shane.

How nice for you all to get away. I bet Steve needed a nice break from work and school. I've never been to Palm Springs, but I've heard it's fun. Hope you have a great vacation and I safe trip home!
Lucky Duck! I could really use a vacation right now! It looks beautiful and warm. Sorry that Rex isn't feeling good, I hope he gets better soon! have fun!
