Vacation time

Steve had a few days of vacation time that he had to use or he was going to lose it. He took it this week and it seems like we didn't even leave the house for the past few days. Tuesday I did hair so Steve had Rex. They went and ran errands to pass the time. They went to Costco and when they came to pick me up my boys had brought me flowers. They are very springish.

Wednesday I got the bug to go through and organize my house. Since we have had Rex it seems like it is so hard to keep everything where it should be. With Steve home he entertained Rex while I cleaned and went through closets and de-junked. We are definitely outgrowing our condo way to fast. Steve buys CDs and DVDs like crazy. He now has to re buy all the DVDs we have on Blu-ray. Like we have room for that. So I made him go through and de-junk. Rex thought that was pretty funny playing with CDs. He is going to be just like his dad.

Rex has recently found a keen interest in Steve's hat. He likes to play with it and suck on the brim. We thought it would be a good idea to let him sport one of his own, and like usual, we have to document the entire process with the camera so everybody can see. He hadn't quite made it out of his jammies.

While cleaning out Rex's closet we found even more toys.

Steve was playing with Rex. I have no idea what they were doing.

He sat in the hallway for at least 15 minutes just playing with his train. He loves the music and flashing lights on his toys.

Tonight Steve's district manager took us to Tuscany. We have wanted to go there for a long time and sadly we were disappointed. The food was just okay. The desserts were better than the meals. It was nice to get out for the night. We need more vacation days like these.

Happy Easter

My family always gets together for every holiday and it has been kinda messed up since my parents don't have a house. We have been doing everything at Rachael's house - she loves that- so with no exception on Friday we did our Easter egg hunt there. We always have the kids hunt first with toys and candy and then the adults get there turn, we get to hunt for eggs filled with money. Rex got a cute little train and some candy that he cant eat - but I'm sure his daddy will help him out. I had to hold Rex so Steve collected the eggs for us. We made off pretty good. Steve took me to Magleby's Saturday night with the money we made.
We got Rex a new outfit and a bunch of little toys that he doesn't need. I am running out of places in our house to store them. We have toys in every corner of our house. My how things change. He got some toy bugs that kept him busy during church but he seemed to enjoy the grass that was in his Easter basket more than any of the toys that were there. It was pretty funny.

Happy Easter!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

First thing this morning Steve started off by pinching Rex for not wearing green. He pinched him back but Rex didn't see that Steve had green socks on. Oops! Here are some picture of Rex in his green.

Suey and Abby came over for some lunch. It was fun to see them. Abby really enjoyed playing with Rex's toys. At first she just sat there but once she got going she had fun. You can come play whenever you want Abby.

We hope you all have a great St. Patrick's day!

Pictures with Animals...

Steph took Rex with the Sulz's to Thanksgiving farm. Because I had to prepare for inventory (boo-hoo) I was unable to attend, and for lack of not actually knowing what was going on in each picture, I thought I would show off some of my favorites.

Chillin' and playin' with the cows
First (and probably last) pony ride
I think he is mistaken about how much fun jail is

Playing with the kids

The weather was so nice day today. I went to my sister Rachael's for dinner and Kadrie thought it would be fun to play with Rex outside. He loves to be outside. He is locked up in doors way to much. Kadrie jumped with him on the tramp and he thought that was so much fun. He just sat there and laughed the whole time. Then we put up the baby swing and he had a good time just swinging in the backyard. He loves to be with the
kids. The days that we just stay home he gets so restless. He will be fussy and as soon as he sees the kids he is just as happy as can be.

Eating dinner has gotten so hard. Rex has mastered getting whatever we are eating down. You should hear him whine until he gets a taste of whatever it is we are having. The problem is once you start to feed him off of your plate or from your cup he wont stop whining until it is gone. But don't worry he's not spoiled- yeah right.

The newest addition to the fam

My sister Alison had a baby on March 6th. They named him Stockton Max Sondrup. He weighed 8 lbs 11 oz and was 21 inches long. I couldn't believe all of his hair. Alison had a lot of hair when she was born but I have never seen a baby with that much. Rex was excited to see him. They are only 7 months apart so they will be good friends. He has never seen a baby before and he was trying to grab his face so we had to watch him. It made Rex seem so big after holding Stockton. It is crazy that they grow so fast.

Before going to see the baby I made Steve take me and Rex to The Cheesecake Factory. It was 11:30 when we got there and there was a 45 minute wait. But the cheesecake was well worth it. We decided to do some shopping while waiting. Steve bought Rex the cutest little puppy hat. Its the closest to a puppy we will ever have. He kept pulling on the ears to try to get it off so we couldn't keep it straight on his head.

Steve took a few days off of work. It was fun to hang out. Rex gets used to having him home right as he has to go back to work and school. When he is in school we don't get to see him on the weekends. On Fridays he goes straight from work to school and on Saturdays it is school straight to work. He is a hard worker.

BlackBerrys & (Maybe) Springtime

After struggling with the Razr for an extended period of time, we decided that new phones were a necessity. After dealing directly with an AT&T authorized outlet, we opted to purchase straight from the source. Stephanie thinks the Perl is cute, so that is what she had to have. I chose a Curve, and we have both been extremely happy. The whole point of this boring explanation is that the following pictures were taken with Steph's phone.
Rex wasn't so sure about the swing at first, but after watching the pro for a few minutes, he decided he could let loose and enjoy the little time he had outside. Steph said it was nice one minute, and the next thing she knew the wind was blowing Arctic air.
