Monday, December 10th

Today was a fun day. It all started at 7:45 when my little brother Taylor called us from the airport. He left to serve in the Harrisburg Pennsylvania mission. He sounded great. He is doing so well. He was able to talk to us for about 25 minutes. He had to get all caught up on what is going on in the sports world and make sure his boy (Rex) was doing okay. He even wanted us to play some Bone Thugs in the background while we talked, luckily Steve came through with the thuggish ruggish music collection.

Rex was finally ready for some rice cereal. The doctor said he should hold off until he is 6 months because he seems to be growing just fine but he kept asking for it so we finally gave in. He wasnt really sure what to think about it for the first few minutes but then he seemed to get the hang of it. I only gave him a few bites. I dont want to be up all night with him with an upset tummy but he thought it was pretty tasty. He is going to fit right into this family.

Rex loves his bath. From the first bath in the hospital to every bath since he loves it. He loves to just sit there in the warm water and splash. He is getting so big and changing so much every day. We feel so blessed to have him. We couldnt imagine our lives without him.

Wow, it makes me feel really old that Taylor has left for a mission! That's great for him, he will do awesome. Rex is such a cutie, a see a lot of steve in him. Sorry to hear about the car, that would be very frustrating! Hope all goes well.
