A Happy ReXmas

I will keep this post short and sweet as my new class started tonight and I really need some sleep. Steph thought it would be a good idea to get some pictures of Rex in his Christmas outfit. So without further delay, here they are

And now for my personal favorite

End of November

As November is coming to a close, and the holiday season has officially begun, we thought it would be a good idea to spend a lot of money on the new addition. He really enjoys sitting up so we bought him a new chair. Now the tv junkie can watch all of his shows by himself.

Rex is also developing an interest in eating. He has been asking for a steak dinner, but we feel that he is just going to have to survive on his hands alone. Eventually we may let him graduate to cookies, only if Steve will share.

That's all for tonight, as Stephanie made the most enormous calzones I have ever seen and I am going to need some serious time to consume both of these.

The Stuart Family

We have never done this before but we thought it would be fun so that our friends and family can keep in touch with us a little better. Rex is now 4 months old. He is growing like a weed. He had a check up yesterday and he weighed in at 15.63 pounds and was 26.5 inches long. That is the 66% for weight and 93% in height. He is following after his daddy for sure. He is such a happy baby. He is always smiling and laughing. He changes every day. He loves to suck on his hands and anything he can get to his mouth. He is really close to sitting up by himself any day now. He loves to sit in his saucer and play. He also likes to sit in his high chair while mommy cooks dinner. Steve is working a lot of hours with Christmas right around the corner. He is finishing up his first semester in his masters program. We are so proud of him. Stephanie is loving being a mom and can't think of anything else she would rather be doing than taking care of her boys.
Steve went to Philadelphia for work and he had a lay over in Chicago. He couldn't resist buying a White Sox shirt for Rex. Next time he is in Chicago he will have to take him to a game.

We have church at 9:00A.M. it can be a really early morning depending on how he slept the night before. But he sure does look so cute all dressed up. This morning was uncle Taylor's mission farewell. He only wore his dress pants until we got to the chapple then Steve had to take him out and clean up a mess.
The mornings that Steve has to work late he gets to dress Rex. He will always take him in his room and lock the door. I have no say in what he wears that day. No matter what he is dressed in (good or bad) he will always have a hat on. This happened to be one of those mornings. He was starting out the day with a nice cold Mountain Dew. It wont be to long until he can really pick it up and give it a taste.
